lenlee represents: the vintage airstream self-promotion kit unfolds
Posted on | November 30, 2010 | 12 Comments
this story began with my dream of owning an airstream of my own, and has evolved into a lovely self-promo. in short, i was looking for a unique and different concept for a self-promotional piece that my entire roster could each contribute to in their own respective styles. i asked them to shoot a story about the vintage airstream in their own interpretation and they all came through with artfully crafted and compelling visual series. ian nordeck, our very talented designer, brought all 4 stories together into one beautiful, collectible piece that we’re all very proud of. we had a lot of fun producing the campaign and have received some great feedback on the kit as a whole. take a look inside!
vintage airstream promo kit giveaway: follow me on twitter— each day, for ten days, i will be asking a question that pertains to this campaign or a photographer on my roster. the first person to reply with the correct answer will receive a kit in the mail. good luck!

She asked each one of her photographers to each shoot some photos and tell a story each using a vintage Airstream trailer as their central prop. They got some very cool stuff indeed! Unfortunately I didn’t join the roster soon enough to join in the fun, but I did get to own the faux air freshener in the kit! Check it out over on Lenlee’s blog. [...]

[...] Brilliant automotive shooter John Early has put together great moments from a dozen photographers he reached out to last week. He had two questions: what was the best moment, what was the worst? And what was learned from those experiences. John contacted me at the suggestion of his SF based rep Lenlee Jenckes who has a great group of photographers she works with. She really caught my attention with an Airstream promotional project where she asked each of her diverse photographers to shoot a story around the vintage airstream in each of their own styles and interpretations. The work then became a beautiful promotional piece. [...]

I wanted to post you one very little note to help say thanks again considering the unique advice you have discussed in this case. It is certainly incredibly generous with people like you to supply freely just what many of us would’ve distributed as an electronic book to make some dough for themselves, notably now that you could possibly have tried it if you ever decided. The tips also served to become good way to be certain that someone else have the same zeal like my very own to find out great deal more when it comes to this condition. I’m certain there are numerous more fun opportunities in the future for individuals that check out your site.
