airstreamin’ apes — beer, bananas and chess!

I asked all of my photographers to shoot a story around the vintage airstream in each of their own unique styles+interpretations. James is the second of the campaign to launch. The 1961 Bambi is owned by Ed and Sue Waterman and restored by TrailerWorks, LLC in Beaufort, SC. Despite the small hurricane the day James was to shoot, he managed to get some great shots of the trailer. He then spent a couple of days at the Atlanta Zoo capturing gorillas feeding, napping, playing…doing what gorillas do. Then back to his studio he went, to edit and composite the images together in his masterful way. He brought these apes to life…hanging in a hammock, fishing, playing chess…drinking beer! A one-man show…he has no one to thank but himself…(Except of course, Steph and Sybil for their patience.) Keep an eye out for the rest of the campaign…coming soon!
